DPacker is a software utility, new developed by An Chen Co., Ltd, to backup your whole hard disk, including the operating system and private data. The utility is easy to use and suitable for beginners and advanced users.

Backup the whole operating system and private data into an image archive, which can be stored in any storage devices, such as internal hard disk, USB/SATA portable hard disk, and CD/DVD media. Recently, most users have a portable USB hard disk besides their main hard disk located in the PC. The additional hard disk promotes the usage of the backup since users can easily save the big, e.g. several GBytes, image archive in the portable disk within a short time, instead of the slowly or once-written devices, such as CD/DVD, floppy, or tape.

Actually, DPacker can mount an image archive not only from your local file system but also from any Internet PC. By this function, you can share your image archive with your friends by starting the sharing service of DPacker and telling them your IP address, id of the shared image, and password. Then, you friends can easily mount your image archive as one of their disk drive to access data.
